For Salvadorans and investors in the U.S.

Buy property in El Salvador without leaving the United States

A MAGNA advisor walks you through every step, from the first question to the keys.

No online payments. This page explains the process. Payments, documents and signing happen with MAGNA, your lawyer and a notary.

How it works

7 steps, with MAGNA at your side.

  1. Reach out Ask about a listing you saw, or tell us what you need: type, location and budget.
  2. See your options Photos, videos, location, measurements, price and features. If nothing fits yet, we keep searching for you.
  3. Visit, even from far away We schedule an in-person visit. If you are in the U.S., someone you trust can go for you, or we arrange a virtual tour when possible.
  4. Negotiate the terms We negotiate with the owner and agree on price, payment method, timing and conditions.
  5. Legal review We send the documents to the lawyer you choose, so they can verify the property's legal and registry status before you sign.
  6. Agreement and closing Once both sides agree and the checks are complete, we set the date, place and terms to sign the public deed before a notary.
  7. Signing and handover We accompany you at closing, coordinate the handover and follow up on the registry process.
